I thought it would be fun to share an image of my setup here, even though it's not an angle my camera usually shows of this space. I love experiencing multiple sessions of engaged participants simultaneusly. Look at the Chromebooks back in service! Never mind the space books. 😆

It's always amazing to see a community of educators and enthusiasts come together to focus on building a better future for humanity. We're all crew on Spaceship Earth.

This is a four-day, hands-on, Earth and Space science experience featuring planetary scientists Dr. Kirby Runyon and astronomer Dr. Pamela Gay - and myself, an education technologist focused on space.

Geothermal features of Bumpass Hell in Lassen Volcanic National Park are similar to the surface of Io, which may also harbor extremophile life. Giant lava tubes in Subway Caves are analogous to places human's might shelter on the Moon or Mars.
