I feel like I take my ocs more seriously than other people, but just like I worry that I'm not good at describing my ocs in a way other people understand, maybe others also have that issue so I don't understand theirs either. Much to think about, I guess.

I guess I'm just as guilty of it. I heard how it sounded when the words left my mouth. I made light of it too. I can't be upset with the reaction when I also didn't make it sound as serious as it was in my head. But I feel cringe describing anything I write so I bail out halfway through...

Am I the only person in the world who sometimes wants to write moments that are heavy and somber, or has social media just conditioned everyone to describe even serious things like a joke because you get more internet points for being funny. Or is it a bad habit of avoiding uncomfortable feelings.

but i guess if it happens often enough it doesnt seem unusual. though that would mostly apply to my parents. hard to know that its supposed to be abnormal behavior when its become my normal for the past several years.

heliolisk isn't amazing competitively, and most people probably think it's pretty forgettable, so if they were gonna go ahead and give megas to some kalos mons i think that could have done so much for it. and i've seen some really cool fanmade megas for it so there's definitely design potential

but like seriously. i could've seen luxray getting one because it's popular, and i could've seen magnezone getting one because gamefreak actually seems to treat the magnemite line pretty well, but heliolisk ESPECIALLY could have used one..

i'm still mad that z-a didn't give megas to any of clemont's existing electric types cuz i will die on the hill that i can't really see him having manectric or ampharos but they didn't exactly give me much better options
