The reports of the Chiefs death have been greatly exaggerated. Mahomes with 4 TD passes.Spags D suffocated Lamar & King Henry. A huge statement victory made bigger by the Chargers loss. There will be a race in the AFC West.

Liverpool is 5 and 0. They’ve played 3 games in 7 days and won them all. They are still In a “get to know you” phase. Isak is some time from 90 minutes. All in all, the Reds are on a mighty roll.

Here’s my view on the FSG & Edwards’s long term strategic plan. Isak replaces Mo. Leoni/Guehi replaces VVD/Konate. Ekitike replaces Diaz, Kerkez for Robbo, Frimpong for Trent. Wirtz is the centrepiece. I know obvious but it’s clear that FSG want a club that will be competitive for a decade.

My biggest takeaway from the Liverpool victory? That the right back provided exquisite passes, tough but smart defense and an “out of this world” goal from a free kick.
