If AE is functional it's in large part because of the scripting and plugin community that support it. It feels like AE will sometimes go years without significant updates or common sense quality of life improvements. I'd bet nobody who uses AE on the regular is running a vanilla version of it.

Well shouldn't that cut both ways?" DUCK 2: "SHH!" PANEL 4: A shot from the back of the theater. The duck keeps whispering. DUCK: "I'm still enjoying the movie, just, like, makes you think, y'know? 'Specially cuz there's all this downtime of just clouds and stuff..." PANEL 5: Later the duck is talking on his cell phone as he walks down the street. BLAKE (on the phone): "Yeah, they're allowed to as much as anybody. They got Bible over here, too." DUCK: "Damn, dawg, that's crazy to have both. So but is all the TV there animes? Cuz this one was nothing like Animatrix."

The answer is simply that when a lot of the work dries up people will go to where the jobs are, even if in the long-term it's against their self-interest. It's bleak.

Honestly I do think the music is a big weakpoint of the new Trigun more broadly. It's completely unmemorable to me in complete contrast to Tsuneo Imahori's score from the first show.

I'm not really sure I agree, it's just all sad all the time. At least Stampede gave me a little taste of fun
