And to top it all off with uwu apologies as if the crime here is “hurting my feelings because you don’t like the product” like, HUH? My feelings aren’t hurt? That’s not the problem?? I’m pissed off because you wasted my time instead of just ponying up the details you want!!

If you can’t ask an artist for what you want and don’t ask for changes because you are “scared of confrontation”, I frankly don’t think you should be commissioning people at all because asking for what you want isn’t, in any way, confrontational…

Let me be clear about something: If I am 99% done with your commission and you cancel it, I am keeping ALL of the money. You are not being gracious by “letting me keep it”— that’s not something you get to choose when the work is essentially finished.
