Apparently the amount animals can see on TV has gone up a lot with modern flat screen HD stuff. We have a big modern TV and our dog watches it all. But my childhood dog never could.

Which is weird because Eddy was there! So he must've forgotten over the decades.

The only other time he's been this scared of the TV was barking at the polar bears in His Dark Materials.

We were watching Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night (don't ask) and we had to stop because the giant mosquito that flies at the screen during the Loompa Land sequence frightened my dog so much we spent the rest of the evening calming him down.
