Just back from a whirlwind 24 hours of European football fun which saw me visit three countries, two stadiums and see one match.

Landed in France, got a private tour of FC Freiburg in Germany and went to Basel for Switzerland v Norway in the Women's Euros. Fantastique!

Conifa's World Football Cup back in 2018 was a memorable event. Now their Asian Cup is being played here.

You're not wrong. My posting rate on here and X have decreased a lot. I think I spend most of my time on Facebook and Instagram.

Lucky enough to be invited to Aldershot this morning to meet the FA Trophy which the Shots won last month.

It was brought to the station to honour an SWR colleague who has volunteered at the football club for years. 👏🙂

My logging in for the first time in over two weeks makes me even later!

Yeah - I guess the COVID lockdown stopped my momentum and then my daughter started playing football on Saturday mornings so it stopped being a habit.

First parkrun for over six months incorporated into a 15km run. Wanted to get under 90 minutes and just about managed it.

Many thanks to all the volunteers at Gunnersbury parkrun for making the event happen. 👏🙂

The Father Ted marathon on More4 is underway - that's my Christmas Eve viewing sorted.

For various reasons, not as many people donate blood, platelets and plasma over Christmas but the demand doesn't go away.

Plenty of donation centres around the country are open up until Christmas Eve and back in business on Boxing Day.

Amazingly, Amina Hanif played for Pakistan against Saudi Arabia in Qatar last night but was back in Northolt by 2pm to play for Actonians against Cambridge United. That's commitment! 👏🙂

Enjoyed a productive trip to Premier League HQ today as we continued the planning for this season's Non-League Day on 22 March.

So much to do, so little time!

Big birthday football trip to Bilbao complete - Sestao v Barakaldo, Santurtzi v Pasaia and lastly Athletic Club v Real Sociedad in the President's Box. The latter was a real treat - a huge thanks to Jon R at the club for inviting me 🙂👍
