Harnessing Our Power to End (HOPE) Political Violence is a guide that responds with care, strategy, and a vision rooted in belonging. The HOPE Guide is for ppl who recognize the dire stakes that political violence creates and want to work together nonviolently to protect and uphold democracy.

When political violence makes headlines, it’s tempting to respond in the moment by posting, commenting, and sharing. But what we say and how we say it matters deeply because political violence isn’t just a policy issue, it's a narrative issue.

Rural-Urban Unity Project: A Case Study With Communities For Our Colleges • Narrative Initiative How a multiracial student-centered campaign changed the conversation on access to higher public education

The project brings together rural and statewide grassroots organizations who are building coalitions across multiple differences, and achieving important wins.

Audel Ramirez, the Central WA Organizer at C4C, highlights the struggles rural and urban students share when pursuing higher education.

In 2023, Narrative Initiative hosted a day-long meeting of rural organizers and storytellers on the narratives shaping rural democracy work. To build narrative power with rural organizers, we partnered with the Alliance for a Just Society and LeeAnn Hall to launch the Rural-Urban Unity Project.
