Workshops are taking place 23–25 February to inform the relaunch of the city-wide mental health anti-stigma campaign ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Sessions are available for community members, employers, and community and mental health organisations.

The session brought people together partners from the VCSE sector to explore shared priorities, hear emerging updates, and reflect on how we continue to work collectively for communities across the city. Thank you to our speakers, Richard Haslett, Sarah Erskin and Mark Ireland.

This time last week we welcomed VCSE leaders from across the city to the latest Health and Care Leaders event at the Cardigan Centre.

This round focuses on community-led engagement around the MMRV vaccine (available from January 2026), supporting conversations in familiar, trusted settings and helping build confidence where vaccine uptake is lower.

Book launch: The People’s History of Leeds

Led by @leedsopf.bsky.social Leeds Older People’s Forum, and funded by the Heritage Lottery, the book reflects what makes Leeds unique – and why so many are proud to call it home.

This session is particularly relevant for trustees, board members and senior leaders across charities, the NHS, local authorities, universities and other public purpose organisations.

The session will look at the growing debate around moral leadership and will explore how boards can lead in an ethically manner to create value and strengthen trust at a time when confidence in institutions is under pressure.
