Another winery to check out in the Charlottesville area that has a music connection is Blenheim Vineyards. Dave Matthews owns it and they make really nice wine. We used to go when it first opened and Dave's sister ran the tasting room. Not anymore, but still a cool place to visit.

Football, pizza and wine club wine! This is a 2022 wine from Jean-Marc Lafont. 100% Gamay. Lots of red fruit. A bit of chocolate and maybe even a touch of vanilla. Very tannic. Deep, dark burgundy color. #WineSky

I didn't have a Grignolino on hand, but after listening to the episode, I was inspired to open this Gamay tonight for football pizza night!
