The WH declared "open for business" in 2016. Trump and his grifting handlers have just improved their business model. And it is all out in the open at this point.

The "getting out" part is what worries me. Time will tell. My money is on the implosion of the GOP as more info comes out on Trump and/or Trump's mental issues just become so bad he is hauled off stage (or croaks). There will be a power struggle within the GOP that will deserve popcorn.

I think it will be impossible to achieve much until there is enough of a majority of Democrats in the congress to impeach and convict. I suspect that Trump will have to be history for this to happen. I will not ponder the likelihood or timeline of any of this to happen.

Cliff's Notes version: Elmo helped throw the election in Trump's favor... successfully. Trump threw Elmo a DOGE-bone as way of thanks. Elmo used DOGE to eliminate all on-going federal investigations of his companies. They lived happily ever after. QED.

When/if there is any accountability for this debacle, SCOTUS should be at the very top of the list. Considering their power by way of position, judgement should be harsh and serve as a precedent for the behavior of future supreme court judges.

And this is the guy that SCROTUS has crowned king. Always remember this.

Cluelessness seems a common thread amongst Trump voters. I think it is axiomatic: if they voted for Trump, they are, by definition, clueless. And this extrapolates to family relationships and how they work. Like Trump, they are accountable for nothing. It is always someone else's fault.

What is so sad is that this on-going chest-beating anti-drug business of taking out small boats and their crews is more than likely a Trump-manufactured distraction from his collecting millions from drug traffickers in payment for their pardons. Selling pardons is big business in the WH.
