love or hate campaign 3 but matt mercer was doing some insanely ambitious stuff and it makes sense for him to want a break especially now that he's stewarding daggerheart. i saw bleem's more recent DMing as stress tests for something bigger and i guess i was right

interesting how people are surprised to see brennan lee mulligan DMing critical role campaign 4. i felt like his increasing presence in more recent stuff was foreshadowing and buildup to this. sounds neat tho!

does anyone know what "tochika" on the gundam assemble hex terrain at gencon is in reference to? obviously it's a mechanic of somekind but are those supposed to be deployment spaces or something?

i never got the vibe gundam assemble was ever going to be a super complex game so this is to be expected but i am a lil disappointed pilots aren't a separate modular thing you can slot in with different suits. i guess you could just reskin the unit boards to be whoever you want them to be anyway

so yes they would be long but at this distance/scale it wouldn't necessarily look that

the most common zimmerit pattern are horizontal parallel lines which is what i tried to do but at a very small scale as they're giant robots and the pattern wouldn't be this visible

Bases with holes drilled in them

Bases in a mold. Excess resin goes through the holes in the bases and comes out the other side.

Bases with toppers cast directly onto them.

If you make the mold including the bases, when you cast them, instead of making chunky toppers you place on top of your bases, you can drill a bunch of small holes in your base, pour the resin and drop them in. The excess will come out via the holes and pin the topper to the base.
