Trench Crusade and Battletech are current favourites, and Kill Team will always have a place in my heart as well. I still want to try Turnip28 and Quar once my project backlog situation eases up.

40k will always be 40k, the tournament-centric approach to rules won't go away any time soon. I've had a lot of fun with skirmish-scale games recently. Good excuse to paint different types of models and a chance to try out systems without a huge commitment.

Three figures: - a stoic sentinel. Long coat, heavy plate armour, weirdly shaped helmet. Obsolete gun. - a traveller. Likewise, heavy armour. Accompanied by a giant tardigrade carrying some packs. - A gas masked soldier. The mask is very long, with tiny round lens on top. The colours are desaturated beyond recognition - only texture and tone remains.

View from the back. The soldier is carrying a massive weapon that resembles a gun overtaken by a blade bayonet. The traveller has a propeller on the back (like an exhaust, rather than a flying appendage).

I honestly recommend reading the Conquest of Bread. This issue is discussed in depth.

Hierarchies are not a prerequisite for building complex systems. They may help with some of them, but organizing society in a more just way won't mean lack of plumbing or fire hydrants or whatever.

Note that some people claim that faster activation leads to weaker bond. Don't know if it's true, but it would make sense that fast polymerisation would lead to a bunch of short polymers instead of longer ones.

There are enough OH- ions in neutral water (due to pH 7 being a dynamic equilibrium state) to activate the glue so adding water helps too. Normally the curing happens via the moisture in air. This is also why it's so much easier to glue your fingers than your models together.
