I’m late to the party, but I’ve finally received my fabric for the #HurryHomexRue sew-along! I’m really pleased how close I was able to match my colour palette to my fabric. Now I’d better get on with the cutting part 😅

I love the sound of these in green corduroy! Fitting can be a pain, I have to adjust everything as well, but so satisfying when you can make something that fits really well!

Another oldie, but a goodie #wikstenshift for the 35+ degree weather we’ve been having recently 🥵

I love the idea of tagging our makes with the garment hashtag so we can see patterns on a range of bodies. It’s one of the reasons sewing on social media is so useful!

This dress has been in my wardrobe for years and I don’t find myself reaching for it anymore. I’m wondering whether to rework into a top and a simple gathered skirt!
