"If it was just me, I would move the company out of NYC because I hate this guy so much…But I won't because there's a lot of people in New York, and I don't want to change their lifestyle for it."
Sooooo... what is the journalistic merit of this story? The HL should be "Guy Has Random Thought"

Oh yeah. Albert Ruddy was working at RAND as a computer programmer, decided it would be easier to make money in Hollywood, pitched Hogan's Heroes, and the rest is history. Paramount made a whole miniseries about the making of the Godfather called The Offer. Miles Teller plays Ruddy.

Wait until you tell them that its success led directly to getting the film adaptation of Puzo's The Godfather made.

So Trump doesn’t know who he’s pardoning? Sounds like this ought to be a major congressional investigation.

My musical hill-to-die-on is that all kids shd begin on either drums (bc all instruments are rhythm instruments) or piano/guitar (to learn chord structure from the beginning). But as a bassist, I humbly suggest you consider the bass. Super hard to master, but easy to pick up & play along quickly.

NEW: Pope Leo Set To Break Up Opus Dei
If Pope Leo does indeed approves a plan that effectively dissolves Opus Dei’s structure, it would be the most significant internal action of his short pontificate to date.
BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV is set to effectively disband Opus Dei in the coming weeks.
This would be the most sweeping internal reform of his pontificate — and a dramatic continuation of Pope Francis’s legacy.

I know this is beside the point, but his style drives me nuts. In addition to being a walking flag code violation, his tailoring choices would seem too heavy handed if a costume designer had dressed him like this to signify "unfit," "unserious," and "clueless."

Republicans don't need a single democrat to keep the government open. If the government shuts down, it's because republicans want it to.

Idk, I just modded a bass to be two-stringed and tuned in fifths so I can play slide bass over Morphine albums, and it's made me very happy, in a melancholy minimalist sort of way.

I've been fired from the Washington Post in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk shooting.
