You may think you are apolitical but you will definitely be remembered for your politics.

This is nonetheless more favorable terrain for Trump than for the American system. As New York Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan once wrote (here in The Post), “Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.” Trump has for years stoked the idea that actually, having your own facts is fine. And even as his base chooses facts that he finds inconvenient in the moment, he’s still pushing toward the next phase: Everyone is entitled to the facts that Trump presents. What institutions of power will be left to disagree?

Great and normal country we live in where priests feel the need to die in order to protect citizens from their own government.

Reminder: ICE has a budget bigger than most militaries around the world.

It has increased its spending on weapons by 700% since Trump took office.

Trump is building his own personal military to terrorize American cities, trample on civil rights, and intimidate his opponents.

Today ICE shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis.

Horrific.

Trump's reckless mass deportation policies are terrorizing American cities and endangering everyone -- immigrants and U.S. Citizens alike.

The chaos and terror must end.

Many have warned that the extra-judicial murders the regime has carried out in the Caribbean and the Pacific was softening the ground for similar actions here eventually in the US.

The man who shot and killed that woman in Minneapolis today had the word "police" on his chest.

But these ICE agents are not police. We don't have a national police force. Policing is state and local in the US. "Police" implies local origins, understandings, connection, and accountability. 1/

This was always going to happen. It was just a matter of when. No way was that ICE agent justified in shooting that woman. No fucking way. And this will happen again. And again. And again. Unless ICE gets off our streets.

Even in the most charitable interpretation, giving up Minneapolis’s prerogative to investigate the homicide seems to expose a misunderstanding of the dynamics of the situation.

There really is no question this is an unequivocal murder. The officer fires 3 shots at the car. This still is taken before he fires the last 2 of those 3 shots: He is CLEARLY out of the car's path of travel, and in no danger whatsoever.

This is murder
