Played some games with the stock OS and it's quite good.

Now it's time to figure out how to flash PakUI onto it with my old Linux ThinkPad 😂

Das ist einfach alles nur absurd. Mit meinem eigenen Gehalt ohne Frau würde ich z.b. wohl nie wieder ne andere Wohnung mieten können wenn man deren 3x die Miete als Einkommen nachweisen müsste.

Krank wie man Wohnen zur Geldmaschine machen muss für einige wenige.

Na da sitzen Menschen deren gesamte geistige Kapazitäten darauf ausgelegt sind wie sie andere betrügen könnten. Mittlerweile bei Kleinanzeigen auch beim Verkauf nur noch Cash bei Abholung.

Ich würde da wirklich nur bei Steam direkt ordern. Stand auch schon an exakt der selben Stelle wie du

Wir sind aus Berlin raus für die Schule unseres Kindes und zahlen hier nach 6 Jahren Berlin einfach in nem Kaff fast das doppelte an Miete.

Sind halt auch immer schnell weg. Hab das Deck jetzt von einem Freund der es nicht nutzt und der wusste ich will eines kaufen.

Using it mostly for last gen games and older pc games and Indies and love it. Steam Sales give you so much great games for a handful of dollars it feels really nice.

Wär mir auf Kleinanzeigen bei sowas eh zu Riskant.

Gibt aber doch auch ab und an Sales und Refurb Geräte ne?

It’s been since forever. Remembering how I played this game on PS1 when it released. Got goosebumps from that intro. Final Fantasy 7 Remake seems to run nice on Steam Deck so far. Capped it to 30fps.

Looking forward to spend the evening with this game :)

Oh didn’t know that. Fairly new to the Steam Deck but so far I use a generic Anker GaN charger and cord and never had a problem. I guess even the cable can be the problem as USB C doesn’t mean it’s all the same specs?

Downloaded Star Wars Battlefront for the Singleplayer Campaign and was greeted with that stupid account stuff. After downloading GTA this is the second game that forces such thing. I hate it

Space Marine 2 was even on Xbox Series S ok playable. Good thing I know what to expect from the deck. Usually I don’t have the newest games in mind when playing the deck. Additionally before buying a game for deck I have to check some vids now xD

Yeah especially after playing console only for like 20 years. First thing a friend told me was to limit fps to 45 or 30 and go from there 😁

I got an OLED deck 2 weeks ago and I’m stunned how good Half Life 2 looks and plays on it. Maybe I’m just old and easy to impress with things like that haha. Skyrim and Fallout 4 are also on my list 😁

Ah good idea. I’m new to the Deck. Gonna look up the video. I don’t mind playing 30fps for improved visuals. I’m used to an Xbox Series S so I’ll take the trade off xD

What settings did you use? I tested the Demo and it looked very bad on the Charakter model especially the hair.

Genau! Ich hoffe mein Sohn macht das mit. Wollte auch ne art Punktliste machen für besonders tolle Hilfe im Alltag aber hab die Befürchtung er schummelt daher hatte ich die Idee mit den Klebern die nur wir Eltern haben 🤣

Richtig tolle Idee. Hatte die Tage ne ähnliche Idee mit Pünktchen zum voll machen oder so fand die Idee mit dem Kleber aber wenig nachhaltig. Laminiert is aber ne super Idee 😁
