A legendary big game hunter (John Wayne) is hired to protect a remote cattle ranch in the Amazon basin from a pair of rogue man-eating jaguar. Co-starring Ava Gardner and Tyrone Power.

Gleason and Newman make a surprisingly dynamic double act. The two bicker, manipulate, and verbally joust while allowing their mutual affection to always shine through.

Savalas is fantastic as Saul. He makes a big impression with very little dialogue. A sly, wry, and evasive performance.

There's a reason Gleason is considered one of the most iconic portrayals of the famous detective. He's great!

But it was Newman as Archie that blew me away! Very dapper and clearly destined for mega stardom.

Also, nice supporting turn from Telly Savalas as Saul Panzer. Stole every scene!
