I had one a *long* time ago as a teen (but lost it), and while I don't get the hate, I also know that nostalgia and me being a kid that didn't know much else at the time probably influenced that lol.

Might be that Valve could look at selling these at very little to no profit to get something really cost efficient and bank on steam sales making the bulk of their profit - its what Sony and Microsoft have been doing after all.

So this could be a very cost effective option. Only time will tell tho.

Not OP but I'm an animator: There are various software out there for stop motion that give you "onion skin" : a "ghost" of the previous frame you took, displayed on top of the live camera view.

This helps perfectly line up everything in the shot as needed

So the answer is most likely yes.

I'm curious, what tutorials have you been using / recommend? I've done the donut saga once then I put off Blender for a while lol.
