I'm rewatching the og Batman movies and I gotta say, I still feel like the first Batman is mid. Not bad! But middle of the road and generally unimpressive.

Kinda dark, some depth, a little style, nearly campy. It has a little of everything, but not enough of anything to be great. It's just OK.

I repeat- I love it when straight people play gay characters. It's fun, and it rarely doesn't work. Gay actors playing straight characters is great too, but admittedly a little trickier to pull off.
