The State Department suspended all applications for passport gender changes in response to President Trump's executive order restricting transgender rights.
We know this has caused confusion. We're monitoring the situation closely — here are 2 important things to know.
Nowhere near enough attention has been paid to this.

My wife and I have been wondering about this too. We want to do something, but not sure where to start or where to even look.

The map is color-coded, with darker shades of orange and red representing higher economic damages, particularly in the Gulf Coast and Southeastern U.S. Key points are marked: A indicates Houston, Texas, where significant damage is expected due to storms, sea-level rise, and heat-related deaths. B represents Miami, Florida, another major city expected to face high economic losses driven by similar factors. C highlights Gulf County, Florida, a rural area that could lose up to half its economy due to climate impacts. The accompanying text describes how wealthier urban areas like Houston and Miami will see losses in billions of dollars, while rural areas might experience proportionally greater economic devastation.
Getting rid of FEMA would absolutely devastate red states with climate change getting worse. It won't be the liberal enclaves being economically destroyed.

I know it probably won't happen, but hope SPS takes a stand and says ICE isn't welcome on their property.
It's only the end of day 4.
But he knew nothing about Project 2025.
alright you wanna know how to support trans people?
hire them. It's REALLY hard already for visibly trans people to get jobs, even before this shit.
Support places that have trans people working front of house, and make sure owners know that's part of why you're there.
