There are only so many big ideas my head can hold onto at the same time. This capacity is reduced by alcohol; often thankfully so.

Ugh, deeply relatable. I thought having distinct work and gaming setups would mean the gaming setup was just good to go when I wanted to relax. 1/5th of the time that hasn’t been the case, between OS updates, game updates, networking probs, and cosmic ray BSoD, there is inevitably something to fix.

People that act as though they are the smartest person in the room never are.

People are so weird. The first thing I thought when I saw the post was, “hell yeah, that’s a beautiful low water natural garden.” What the hell more do they want? Just rocks? My second thought was “I bet that would look awesome at night with some color led garden lights.”

I get emotional with every article about the Klamath Dam removals. Our great grandparents reached through time to pull these dams down. Our kids kayaked through on a wave of generational perseverance to welcome the water home, shores lined with seedkeepers & all the fix-the-world people. My heart.

I have to console victims of scams all the time and I tell them that often scammers are talented professionals with years, maybe decades, of experience. Like if a veteran MMA fighter beat you up in a bar fight you won’t say “I’m such a wimp.” You’d say a trained experienced fighter beat me.

I hope a ballpark would have get improved transit infrastructure, and it would be an added boon to that area. But transit there today isn't built to support a full stadium exiting after a game/event. And a lot of baseball fans for the metro area will still prefer to drive even if transit is better.

I think access to the Vancouver waterfront for people that live in Vancouver is more accessible than South Waterfront is for people living in PDX. South Waterfront should be more popular. But if I'm transit already I'm more likely to pick other areas, because we just have more options.
