Looking at US today it’s like someone shook a snow globe full of policy ideas, grudges, and interior design magazines and said “yes, this is leadership.”

Today in American Governance The Directors Cut, Trump flirted with pulling ICE out of Minnesota, defended deadly raids, threatened tariffs at the concept of trade, confused allies, soothed then spooked markets, and announced a White House ballroom because ✨vibes✨. That’s Leadership, apparently!

I’ve been leaning into what I think of as emotionally spacious music lately — songs that don’t rush, don’t insist on answers, and leave a little room to breathe. When the world feels loud and chaotic, that kind of gentleness helps me steady myself.

What music gives you that sense of space?

I can’t honestly argue with that but I don’t think it is the best move labour could have made. I suspect it will come back to bite them.
