We ran a randomized controlled trial to see how much AI coding tools speed up experienced open-source developers.

The results surprised us: Developers thought they were 20% faster with AI tools, but they were actually 19% slower when they had access to AI than when they didn't.

We're looking for a hydrogeochemist (2-year fixed term).

I have seen some weird layouts of Edinburgh tenement flats as a result of DIY projects by someone's Uncle 30 years ago that slipped by building control, but never one with a shower door into the living room-cum-kitchen where you could climb through the bath as an alternative access to the room!
