Also like Meryls a strong willed self reliant lady we see her taking charge of disasters and taking care of Vash. It’s her turn dammit! She deserves to be cared for!

Just let her eldrtich emotional vampire bird grow up and do more than the bare minimum!

It’s slow at first because he’s never had to have emotional maturity for this, but he learns about the Meryl outside of his immediate life

And as someone who’s been where is at, it’s literally the best feeling

Literally saves their marriage (they’ve always been married ngl)

Hes very slow to start, but the moment he decides to invest himself the person who’s given him so much, Vash is gonna have an existential crisis

But after that, Meryl’s not ready for the absolute flood of care and affection he’s been storing for a century and a half
