A beginner's piece of bucks point ground (point ground) bobbin lace being worked next to a photo of what it is meant to look like. I'm currently practising for it (starting with visible net, it's a bit easier 😁)

I 🥰 this shot. It's the Black Mountain tower in Canberra. Once an iconic tourist destination, it was closed to the public in 2021 due to a state of disrepair. Telstra and the ACT government have agreed to work together on a plan to refurbish and reopen it. Thumbs up to that.

To be fair, in the tropical regions there's not all that much variation in hours of sunlight, so daylight saving doesn't make much sense.
