True.
I don't think AAA devs don't care about what they're doing.
But I think that a lot of their passion and individuality gets filtered out of the final product to make it more marketable.
No AAA studio could've ever made something as stupid yet endearing as Turnip Boy commits tax evasion

I kinda miss passion in AAA games nowadays.
Sure, they look impressive, and they might make you feel a little sad for a bit or sth, but they just seem uninspired to me when compared to indie projects like mouthwashing, hollow knight, undertale, stardew valley, a short hike, etc.

I just learned that stardew valley mobile has a hidden beta-version of a multi-player mode, hidden using leaves in the title screen to enter the Konami code.
It even has mobile-pc crossplay (which no other version has) and requires you to leak your IP adress to your friends to host a game

Average cat behavior

The Dwarf has to be the most underwhelming npc in Stardew Valley.
They have friendship levels.
And only one heart event, which they share with Krobus.
No matter how much you care about them, they never feel like they consider you a friend.
There's so much potential, but they're just a worse Krobus

Love stardew valley, and fields of mistria looks kinda interesting, I'll probably give it a try next time it's for sale on steam
