I think you can think of it as every creature has a death trigger that says "when this creature dies, move to the graveyard." So the actually written death triggers still happen, but then RIP interrupts the stack before it goes to the graveyard.

My own understanding of interpreting rules like this is that different wordings are distinct. In this case in particular RIP calling out things moving to the graveyard means that's the significant thing. Dying happens when any of those things you listed happen.
