This isn't an easy decision and I know this is said hundreds of times, but it really is the ultimate act of love for your pet. I'm so sorry you're going through this, it just plain sucks.

My senior dog is also on her way out. She just has more bad days than good. She's losing weight even though she's eating, and everyday activities like going to the bathroom and sleeping are a struggle. When she wakes up in the morning she goes outside to go potty, then comes back miserable.
