I met an impossibly sweet tuxedo cat about five years ago. She followed the dog and me over 2 miles home on a walk, set up in my backyard for several weeks, and always came back.

In a head-to-head, Coach Cantley would probably lose that contest!

Tried to track him down and found out he died about three years ago at 61. I shouldn't have been surprised. He was HUGE!

BTW - Don’t know if you remember, but this was what The City was a few iterations earlier. The format moved to 107.3 in 1992.

BTW - Prior to The City, KC had smooth jazz for a couple years in the late 80’s. 98.9 was KCWV “The Wave.” It became KRVK “The River” in 1989 before becoming “The Rock” in ‘92.

I loved 106.5 The City, too! Used to set my alarm to it. The only thing I didn’t like was that it would totally put me to sleep at work.

Funny part is, it only went off-air a couple years ago. If you had an HD Radio, you could hear it in all its glory, but no people and few commercials.

I also don't think Gruden is interested enough in the college game to want to coach there, but stranger things have happened.

It's like the plot of Django Unchained. You don't go after the coach you can get. You go after the one you can't get first!

I think it's more that the college game is just different. I keep telling my friends at Arkansas that they might not want Jon Gruden as much as they think they do.

So, this idiot cut me off in traffic, took exception to my driving, and decided he was going to follow me to work and confront me. After he followed me into the parking lot, he would seem to have had a quick change of heart and chickened out when he saw all the cop cars!

I would say this has been the worst rapture ever, but I’m old enough to remember this one!
