I'd love to do more collabs like this:

IMHO Many liberal causes are co-opted and steered off a cliff by nefarious outside sources. In some cases this muddies the waters to the extent where many just step back and in some the issue is flipped to a such an extent that the bidding of the opposition is accomplished.

I agree, but this actually applies to far more than just animated characters.

The dynamics and perspective on the second piece are really stellar.

It also helps us understand what works and what doesn't. It's how we learn.

Editing is my mental speed-bump and sadly where I spend 90% of my writing time. I do enjoy honing my words, but I wish I could mentally move past "good enough."

Fingers fat like sausages is cliche and not up to where Etna is in my story- if I described fingers like overstuffed tubes of polenta, so swollen they could barely bend, is that something that registers or too obscure?

The lighting, cinematography, and pacing really elevated this already impressive animation.

My ambitious second release. Feedback at the time was that the characters were two-dimensional, the plot mechanics problematic, and several, "Would have been better if (insert personal fetish here). Glad it found an audience over time (decades even).

Favorite changes with mood- but a favorite that not only holds up well but was my introduction to expansion literature all those years ago was "Remote Possibilities" by @inflate123.bsky.social and Sievert.

The interest seems to have been ingrained in me since achieving consciousness. Any bit of expansion media (pre-pre internet) had my full and undivided attention and was instantly ingrained into my little brain to be available for mental playback.
