It’s through conversations like this that two opposing views can come together and find common ground and make change that can truly impact the broader population.

My opinion was in this case only. This was an undisputed case. I feel that our judiciary system shouldn’t be for profit to avoid false convictions or false unnecessary imprisonment. I think the death penalty should only be used in extreme cases. It’s a complex topic and I appreciate your opinion.

What person in their right mind would think that? This can happen and if there is a doubt no execution should happen until certainty. I live in a state where several “stays” have been happened rightly. That wasn’t the case in this situation. There isn’t a “one size fits all” solution here. IMHO

No, I don’t think it is. I don’t support the tax burden to supply funds to for profit prisons for these criminals. IMO if you are convicted of taking life intentionally in a violent crime you deserve the ultimate penalty. Hr was on death row for multiple years. They suffered and paid a price.

He committed violence that took the life of multiple people. I have a hard time showing a convicted murderer more mercy than he showed his victims. Don’t get me wrong, taking life should never sit easy with anyone. He chose the firing squad from other options. This was his price to pay and he did. 😞
