Why did I get so sad watching this? It's not going to be a happy story, that's for sure. What a talented, beautiful woman.

Wow, I'm interested in watching it. Like so many talented black women, she probably got chewed up and spat out by the industry. I hope it's a documentary where she took control of her destiny.

Reading Tai Pan again, this time on my libby app, is just as good as the first time when I was 14 and in awe and amazed and taken away to another different place!

Although it is stressful and cancer causing this hate they propagate, we must try to have honest discourse with the people who are coherent enough to want that.
The rest can go preach to their choir.
I believe in my soul, there are more kindness and empathy amongst us, than there is hate.

A great book to disappear into? Pillars of the Earth. What an amazing, well written, well researched book with beautiful storytelling. When the world hands you exploitative dirty politics, read about 12th century anarchy.

Sugar is bad for me, who falls into a coma and wakes up babbling like a fool.

Back when we had to run to the one neighbour who owned a landline. Ours was a stoic lady who gave people privacy.
My friend, in another part of town, now she had the phone neighbour who actually put a glass and ear to the wall to hear better.

Even the news coverage was a shame. CNN spent hours reporting on nothing. Like, don't report unless you've actually done some work.

In anticipation of tariffs and the fact we may never taste tropical fruits and vegetables again, I have booked 10 days in the Mexican Riviera to eat my fill. Cheers to canning and preserving again. And Botulism.

DuckDuckGo is brilliant for privacy and for getting real search engine results, globally. I love it, as much as I dislike Google's invasive, as driven results.

That is a book that is in my head forever! The imagery was fantastic.

Deep forest trekking...We drank creek water from a leaf, and the guide plucked food...magical-delicious fruits and leaves and whatnot from the literal air. Oh yeah, and the fish caught themselves while we napped in hammocks under the trees by the river.

Holy Cripes!!! So when they feed unpublished writers work into these AI platform within their company, it then becomes literally OPEN AI. Thos writers work will be used as standard AI information. WE have to protest this. When AI infiltrates this world, new writers have no hope and real life stops.
