Today is Emancipation Day in Canada, across the Caribbean, and other regions - marking the day slavery was abolished in the British Empire. My book, The Book of Possibilities, has been featured on a few Emancipation Day reading lists, and I'm grateful!

Lemme tell y'all a bit about the day:

This was 1978. Those 10-year-olds are now 56—still in power, still shaping society. That hate isn’t history. It’s still here, hiring, judging, policing… and parenting the next generation. 👇🏾
