Masterworking and Tempering are mostly necessary in Torment IV or being able to make it there. These features are for the endgame primarily.
Nice! You were pushing yourself hard with that heart rate! Hopefully you are taking tomorrow off from
running :)
I'm still looking for a LLM trained on our internal engineering docs (across teams) so I can make sense of them or at least find more relevant stuff. 😀
17.12.2024 18:45 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I strongly prefer gRPC for anything with complex payloads - you quickly run into JSON limitations or have to invent a json schema that includes types.
I regularly use gRPC in Go, Python and .NET - from that perspective I have no complaints.
Sure, I wouldn't use gRPC for simple CRUD APIs...
Come to the west coast. We got the Pacific North WET ☔️ for you.

29.11.2024 17:07 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I thought Google Sites is the SharePoint equivalent (but far fewer features). I don't know anyone who uses Google Sites these days though.
29.11.2024 17:04 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0We go to Copine every few months since it's just a few blocks from our house (you must get their wine pairing). Didn't realize they offer a Thanksgiving takeout meal.
29.11.2024 06:09 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I did! It was lovely running weather - ended up running out of time to get to Thanksgiving dinner with the in laws so I ended up running to their house instead and running shorter. It was 9 miles mostly uphill. Don't recommend running with a backpack though :)

28.11.2024 19:22 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There is still some lingering fog in Ballard - but at least not at ground level anymore. Once that burns off in the next hour or so it'll be perfect. It'll be shorts, long sleeve shirt (no jacket) and gloves running weather :)
28.11.2024 19:21 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Good job getting out! I plan to yet run a half marathon distance before Thanksgiving dinner today. At least it's not rainy!
28.11.2024 19:05 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0You should switch your username to be based on a domain you own (or entity you trust) - that way you truly can be platform independent. That's why you will see lots of domain usernames like mine. It's pretty easy to set up.

While far from perfect, the show does make an attempt to accurately portray the culture and language.
My collection is ~20 cards strong. And I even remember to bring them with me when I return to the same countries.

Chromium is an open-source project which primarily is funded by Google. Without Google Chrome there will be few contributors to Chromium (certainly not from Google). If someone takes over Google Chrome and rebrands it they will do far worse things to it.
I'm all for a breakup - this isn't it though.
I might have to unfollow just for this :D
19.11.2024 16:33 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It'll be mentioned in a random session. We only started building this with 6 folks earlier this year. Turns out building a brand new service (vs a feature in an existing one) is complicated.
19.11.2024 15:57 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Well I cannot say until it gets announced. It was however demo'd in part at NET Conf however, so you can check the stream.
It'll still be in limited public preview (meaning there is a waitlist). First I need to finish making a major breaking change before I can open the floodgates 🙃
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 launches at 8 am Pacific. Will it be delayed? Are the CDNs ready for the many simultaneous downloads? Can the servers handle the load given it heavily uses cloud streaming of scenery data? We will find out!
Unrelated: my own cloud service gets announced today 🙃
I'm curious how much wind we will actually get in Seattle tonight.
