I could say much more but to end this, I'll say that this is why we see Tashi light up when the boys end up /really/ playing tennis again at the end. The "Come on!" she gives is her remembering what she really wants when the boys really start to "play with each other" again

She doesn't care who wins because she wants to see the "match" between them. Her erotic interest is not the boys, it's the "tennis" (real and figurative).

Halfway through the film, her spat with Patrick makes her forget this, leading to the conflict of the film

The most notable change Challengers makes to this classic formula is that Tashi is only there to watch those boys "play some good fucking tennis."

She doesn't want either of them to be in love with her (as she says in the cafeteria), she wants to watch them "play tennis" (fuck)
