Hes starting to get more active so I take him out a few times a day and let him climb around and get some exercise, and check his water and make sure he’s eating his fruit. Maybe I’m a possum dad now 😂 I wouldn’t be mad about it. I’ve been feeding the squirrels and trying to make friends for years

I’ve called fish and wildlife and a friend called a rescuer but no call back yet. He seems to be 9-12ish weeks old but I’m not a possum expert, just comparing him to aging pictures. I’ll keep him warm and fed for a few weeks and then see how he’s doing I guess.

So I picked him up and held him against me to make sure he was warm and he didn’t seem cold at all. Then I put him in a small box with a big towel and a shallow dish of water and a bunch of fruit! They’re pretty clean and they’re very unlikely to have rabies bc of their lower body temp.

So I took my dog out Sunday around 3pm and the little guy was in the pile of dropped seeds under my bird feeder! He looked so scared I had to help. I looked all over for a while for his mama or other siblings but couldn’t find even a hint of them. He might have fallen off mama?
