Biological sex classification with structural MRI data shows increased misclassification in transgender women - Neuropsychopharmacology Neuropsychopharmacology - Biological sex classification with structural MRI data shows increased misclassification in transgender women

So why after many years of trans people using their chosen sex spaces with no incident is it now a problem for you? If you are as you say, supportive of trans people.

The 2010 Equalities act protect trans people who have "proposed to undergo gender reassignment"

Trans Day of Visibility: Most anti-trans adults don’t know anyone trans Most anti-trans young adults don’t even know a trans person, according to research by Just Like Us released on Trans Day of Visibility.

96% of Lesbians support Trans people. They are actually the most supportive group. See the below survey.

The lesbians I know are gender non confirming. They see an attack on tran women's as an attack on all women. + brain scans of trans women are nothing like mens.

Greens welcome #GreatBritishRailways but what about rolling stock?

ROSCOs paid Β£275m in dividends to shareholders last year - a huge drain on public finances!

I urge the Government to find ways to bring our rolling stock into public hands.

Sandie Peggie case 'shows trans segregation is unlawful', MSPs told THE Sandie Peggie tribunal ruling has shown that the β€œblanket exclusion of trans people” from single-sex facilities is generally unlawful ...

"A further 43 counts were thrown out, including all allegations against Upton, and the tribunal said that NHS Fife giving the doctor permission to use female changing spaces was not unlawful.:

So far as her other comments are concerned, they were impermissible manifestations of her belief and were in our view what amounted to an incident of harassment by the claimant of the second respondent related to the protected characteristic of gender reassignment, reasonably perceived by the second respondent to be so, and were a breach by the claimant of section 26 of the Act and of the Bullying and Harassment Policy. The second respondent was entitled to view the actions of the claimant in those particular regards as being such harassment, or as a β€œhate incident” within the policy, and the first respondent was entitled in principle to act on the complaint made, but the detail of how it did so depends on all the circumstances as more fully addressed below. The second respondent was also entitled to regard the claimant’s actions as a breach of the second respondent’s Article 8 rights, so far as the claimant’s expression of her beliefs was impermissible.

1034. We also considered that the claimant had acted deliberately to be able to challenge the second respondent whilst they were alone. What she did was to wait until other members of staff had left the changing room, and for the second respondent to leave the cubicle, before raising her own beliefs directly with the second respondent in the manner we have set out. 1035. Whilst the claimant had not been informed as promptly and in the detail we considered appropriate, and the first respondent did not consider whether to revoke permission at all, the claimant did not herself raise any formal grievance under the policy. She is an experienced member of staff who had access to union advice. She knew, or ought reasonably to have known, that the first respondent having granted permission to the second respondent she required to have raised her concerns with the first respondent as the decision-maker rather than with the colleague to whom it had been granted, and in any event ought not to have done so in the manner that she did.

An important point to come out of the Sandie Peggie case is that 'gender critical' employees can't take matters into their own hands and confront trans employees. If they do that it is likely to be harassment/ bullying/ a hate incident.

People vote with their feelings, sometimes opposite to logic. The fear of the "boats" has got regular people threatening murder/rioting. Tapping into that with rhetoric and fear gets them onside. The Empire didn't keep control by being nice. We're experts of divisivness/exploitation.

He's been on the beeb 44 times given LOADS of free air time, despite only having 4 mp's.
He emulates Trump, in that he will say what people want to hear to win, instead of the Truth.
They are billionaire backed, raking in millions from private donors who own Papers/media

Just to be clear. I'm not unaware of the danger, we need to be in the EU more than ever tbh, building ties with our direct neighbors. Who are closer to Russia than us. The US has a different perspective being so far away + can not be trusted anymore.

We ramped up defense spending to 5% for NATO, again a Trump demand. I also am concerned that Trumps ties to Russia has meant he has been so soft, to weaken NATO in such a way that Europe looks weak, and needs to re arm. I am for a strong defence + watching Sweden choose a side Future is a concern

Charity shops have been the key for me. I regularly try and check them out when I see them, plus there is so much lovely stuff too if you keep at it. Charity Shop Chic is my knickname for my wardrobe. πŸ˜€ But thank you for the kind comment.

I have been swapping to all cotton clothes, cleaning cloth, loofers, bedding. About 5% of my wardrobe has plastic, and then its a nylon cotton blend. Which is far better than pure plastic.

But I'm still going to get a filter. As it is far better for the plastic to end up incinerated than the sea.

Trump admin claims win as UK bows to pressure on NHS drug spending The U.S. said the combined changes would increase the net price the NHS pays for new medicines by 25 percent.

25% rise in drugs costs. Our NHS is a bargaining tool.

A strong PM wouldn't roll over, and would look elsewhere for a more secure future like literally every other country is doing.

That's not what I said. I was referring to general Policy. He just gave away billions in NHS drug price increases to American pharmaceuticals, to secure a trade deal, and has pitched the US as our closest Ally, literally ignoring Europe. A US trade deal doesn't dent the 8% GDP lost due to brexit.

With the Dark net, apps to hide info and now crypto. It's so hard to stop and easy to hide. Hence the Thames having the most ever cocaine in it, year on year, so much so it's harming wildlife.

We should be focusing on reducing demand, rather than trying to stop the product.

Young people are exploited for drug running, and eventually get groomed into gangs. Especially under 18 as they are minors in the eyes of the law. We can't stop drugs coming into this country so best to manage it legally. Tax on drugs could be used to support recovery programs.

So it needs it's own logistics. Plus Trump seems supportive to Russia, with people questioning who actually wrote the "peace deal" in discussion, as it only benefits Russia.

We cannot rely on the US and NATO because of them.

07.12.2025 16:58 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Obviously the full context of Green position would help. NATO was formed with the US as a main member who can't be trusted now
+ we have watched our PM suck up to Trump because of US influence. Europe needs it's own alliances, and are a lot closer to the Russian border than US.

Pessimism in me: Another attack on democracy.

Optimist: 2 more years of Labour/reform crumbling and for greens to Rly hone their messaging and build momentum.

Fingers crossed the same excuse isn't used for local elections.....
