Like idk it feels like if you're upset people are trying to find meaning in an absurdity comedy, you are literally forgetting why absurdist comedy exists

You can say it's just a joke all you want, but a joke can also have meaning behind it besides being funny. A joke can also speak to people who it resonates with.

Also we can talk about the Gwimbly episode as funny but it is a serious commentary on the state of the gaming industry and copyright. Mr Frog's serious discussion with his dad isn't meant to be taken seriously, but it actually does have a genuine piece of humanity behind it

Like Silly Samuel is a good episode not because it's funny but because it's funny and has a good message about how neurodivergent (mostly autistic) people are treated by society

I don't hate LS Mark or anything and do kinda agree with him on some things, but idk I don't think "some people took some smiling friends things seriously" is a bad thing

The route where they destroy the boxes (fuck you I'm not spoiler tagging this because this route was a waste of time) and a G'ie slithers out is emblematic of the whole route. There's something going on but you'll never know!

Finished Box of Blessings. What a fucking waste of time. The only good parts were Shouma and a bit of lore behind cryptoglobin. I wish I had more to discuss about either topic but the game refused to give me more to discuss about either. Fuck you.

I think this characterization of Red and Blue are my favorites in the series and Green is just a fun character to see. Absolutely in love with how the writers characterize the world of pokemon. I will never be intrigued by how every piece of pokemon media makes itself unique

Having EIGHT acts to the story made zero sense when a lot of the acts could've easily been consolidated. The Rerir stuff is also majorly disconnected from the Dottore stuff and honestly felt significantly weaker.

"I wish there was less of it" is a complaint I never want to give. "I wish there was more" is the best compliment I can give. Seriously please just cut the story down significantly.

Genshin's biggest enemy will always be pacing because it is bad at it. Like absolutely atrociously bad.

No but if they cut down the Nod Krai story by removing Act 3 (it is literally nothing but planning scenes), half of Act 4, the end of Act 5's gameplay segment, and cut down on an hour of cutscenes in Act 7, the story could've been a 10/10 story

The Traveler proves once again that they're an amazing character when their dick isn't being sucked every three seconds and when they're actually allowed to talk

Legitimately I should not dread opening the story because I know I will have to play four hours of cutscenes

The issue is the pacing. Cut half of the dialogue and let me skip animations and make it half the time and it immediately improves
