Interesting that this story is being pushed on X, Reddit, Facebook—everywhere on social media—right when Republicans are trying to kill Medicaid. Giving children your money has long been a strategy to keep your life’s savings in the family rather than giving it to the for-profit nursing homes.

Got to be concerned that big business—real estate developers, for-profit nursing homes, home flippers—aren’t pushing this narrative because they want the old people’s money for themselves.

I await their opinion piece on why men’s hormones and territorial competitiveness to win at any cost makes them unfit for the modern, collaborative workplace.
