my therapist told me that people aren't usually proactive like that, so I must have stood out a bit.

so i didn't actually have the official call to discuss dates. They just messaged me out of the blue asking if i wanted that one

i waited, impatiently for about 2.5 months before messaging them to inquire when we might be discussing dates. They told me in January.

I was on the cancellation list though and i guess one came up in March so they offered it to me.

i think that being a bit proactive and contacting them helped

it's been a bit of a frustrating process for me. I had my initial intake in April, and then they scheduled a consult with the surgeon for September. After he does a little exam and determines there are no issues, THEN i was told to wait for their call to discuss dates.
