Today in the US if you have enough money, you can definitely be “above the law”. Today in the US if the crime you committed was against “the least of these”, you can definitely be “above the law”.

Oh, I agree. The NIH is one of the biggest funders of vaccine & other cures research. That’s American tax dollars. We should “own” all of it … at least in part.
