In this perspective, I think about how Trump's presidency might push us to better understand politics in the policy process.

            As @breunig.bsky.social and I find in our book "Means, Motives, and Opportunities: How Executives and Interest Groups Set Public Policy", Parks and Natural Resources budgets at the state level are particularly vulnerable to strong executive actions.             I'm trying to remind people that Trump is going to flood the zone with stuff, but it is not all equal and, also, not worthy of too much attention yet.
