I agree with this overall, but got to consider that some of those players who were awful in the Premier League might have looked like world beaters in the Championship. Much as I love them, Dan James and Firpo came down and looked brilliant whereas before they couldn't hack the Prem. Hope I'm wrong

If he doesn't get 10+ goals this is a stupid move from the club and scoring 3 in the Championship doesn't suggest he will. He may well turn out good in 2 or 3 years but I'd rather take the pure profit for PSR and spend it now as this is such an important season for the club #lufc

Sadly the Premier League is a different ball game now to 2020 and the gap is bigger than it's ever been. The recruitment has to be at least 8/10 and the current squad suggests we are going down with a whimper. Even a good window won't guarantee us anything
