Ah, the same, but different name - this happens with Beall, Beal, Bell (as an example). There can also be transcription errors - however, it seems that you have a a brick wall here. It's difficult, but not impossible! 🙂 Have you looked on WikiTree?

This is a good question. Reasonably, yes, you could infer that this is the same family. Do you know the origin of the surname - perhaps the migration of this family to that area?
