Most of us couldn’t make it very far but I am proud to say that one buddy and I were able to make about 75% of the Cathedrals Rock trail. Apparently we quit right when it got easier- oh well!

Spent the weekend in Sedona with some friends. Driven through plenty of times but this was my first time hiking any of the trails. Beautiful!

I am attending a meeting re: this. A bunch of my peers immediately leaped on an example scenario (an unedited photo vs edited). Great observations from them.

The presenter of the meeting then used AI to ask if the photo was altered. It only caught about 1/10th of what the humans caught.

Folks are using AI to doctor photos to qualify for insurance policies they shouldn’t qualify for and to fraudulently make claims.

I know there’s a lot of disdain for insurance companies but uh this is bad for everyone.
