I lost track of my layers... quite a few! I did add more shadows and hair highlights. I think she's just about done...

I agree! The undercoat just isn't working... So I add more highlights around her face and it really brightens her up!

I still feel like she's too flat... What am I missing? Is it the shadows?

Sometimes, I like to palette skintones on my hand to gauge depth and shade overlays. The white of a wet palette throws off the colors.
