Brito went 3.0 hitless, shutout innings with eight strikeouts, including seven in a row at one point, while averaging 97.6 mph on his four-seam during his outing on Friday.
He was limited to just 12 outings at High A this year before landing on the IL on June 25.

If you missed it over the weekend, Walker Janek has put up big numbers so far in the AFL.
Currently leading the league in RBI (18) and slashing .333/.375/.733/1.180 in seven games with three doubles, three homers and has also stolen three bases.

Tredwell was great across three levels, notching a 3.69 ERA in 100.0 IP.
In June of last year, Eric Lauer and Joey Loperfido were in El Paso popping bottles as Sugar Land clinched the first half in the PCL.
Tonight, they’re celebrating at Yankee Stadium as they are on their way to the ALCS with the Blue Jays. Wild.
Certainly a player to watch for #Astros fans in the Arizona Fall League.
Janek seems like a prime non-roster invite to Spring Training, and if he plays well early on in 2026, a potential quick mover to Sugar Land.

Updates on the #Astros roster today:
RHP Luis Contreras, LHP Bryan King, RHP Rafael Montero and LHP Steven Okert were told that they will make the Astros Opening Day roster.
Meanwhile, C Joe Hudson, 1B Jon Singleton and RHP Logan VanWey will not make the Opening Day roster.
The #Astros made another roster move today, optioning Bennett Sousa to Sugar Land.
In Spring, Sousa allowed seven runs in 7.2 innings. However, six of those came over two outings, and he gave up just one run in his last 4.0 frames of work.
Prior to tonight's game, the #Astros optioned Nick Hernandez, Shay Whitcomb and Cesar Salazar to minor league camp. Sugar Land's 2025 Opening Day roster continues to take shape.
