A bit of fun last night at 3am. A snake in the bedroom aircon. Seems to be a brown tree snake (Boiga irregularus). 🐍

I’ve gone from a similar number of steps to barely 1000 a day as a result of a sudden worsening of my spinal stenosis. Hard to avoid putting on weight while I wait for the morbid lottery of the public hospital neurosurgery waiting lists.

If I could draw as well as my friend @thewilliamgeorge.bsky.social I would draw the dream as a comic strip. I think David Lynch would enjoy being in a comic strip.

The other night I dreamt I was visiting David Lynch. He showed me around his sprawling house. Some rooms were unfinished. I told him about a book I was writing and he was supportive and offered to help in any way he could. It was one of those dreams that one doesn’t forget. Cont… #dream

When we lived in Lae, Papua New Guinea there were so many cane toads in our garden that I used to pay my children to catch them so I could euthanise them. . I’d give them 10toea each for them. It nearly sent me broke!
