I should mention—mandatory insurance here is not for profit (supplemental policies can make a profit). So health spending is 11.8% of GDP vice the US’s 17.6%. So we’ve got that going for us at least….

FWIW, in Switzerland my spouse and I pay, combined, CHF -13,200 (~$16,000) / yr in insurance premiums for mandatory coverage. 1st ~$625 each is out of pocket, then 10% copay for all services & meds until ~$875 copay each is reached. Employers do not contribute. We do get 4+ weeks vacay tho.
